Barbara Weston is a current at-large school board member for Richland One and a retired educator who taught English, speech, and drama in South Carolina public schools for 30+ years. Commissioner Weston has served on the school board since 2022, and she has been transparent about shortcomings in Richland One, voting in November 2023 against renewing the contract of the current superintendent.
